Water Line Installation Update

Constellation Energy is continuing the expansion of the Anne Arundel County public water system in order to provide residents in the neighborhoods shown on the accompanying map with water from the county system.

As Constellation Energy expands the county water network, we are installing the piping required to connect residents living along the path of the water main. As each home is connected, the wells previously used for water are being decommissioned in accordance with state and county requirements.

The accompanying map shows the completed and remaining phases of the water line project.  Constellation Energy is working on each of the remaining phases (shown on the map as phases 2, 3, 4 and the remainder of Phase 5) of the project simultaneously in an effort to expedite hook-ups to the county water system. We anticipate the water line installation component of the project will be complete by the end of 2011.
